First day. Some things I’ve learned
I’ve been looking up DD and how to do it etc and the ins and out in YouTube for a few weeks before just starting. I’ve got it down now on the offers and what’s considered good/bad. I did take 2 bad orders one being almost 5 miles for $6 and another for $7 for 7.4 miles. I know very bad but also it’s me getting the hang of it and just trying things out. I will not do another order that far like that unless it’s $15+ then probably. I’m tracking my miles with Gridwise also I guess for tax purposes. Taxes are another thing I’ll have to figure out. I’d like to put money into a savings after each withdrawal to set aside for taxes but idk how they calculate what I’ll owe yet. And around 12 there was a hotspot or red graph over these restaurants but now it’s greyed out. I’m assuming the time of day between lunch and dinner not much. So it’s possibly a dead time of day and I’ll come back out around 5 in the future. So I’ll see how the times are as I get more days in. Had a “hand it to me” and literally they never came to the door, dog barked like crazy and I called them they said just leave it there lol like why not of done that in the first place. I did get a pick of the order and address in my camera roll just in case I guess. My first order was 2.8 miles for $6! Was nerve wracking tbh delivered to the second story of a hospital. Instructions where give it to the front desk so I was confused as hell when I wasn’t prompted to take a pick but that’s basically a “hand it to me” order so there was never a pic needed. Stressed me out thinking I f’d up my first order haha
Edit: and also I don’t care about the acceptance rate. I will cherry pick from sun up to sun down.
