We are not cared about

So tonight was really bad weather. Accidents everywhere, black ice, wind & snow

Well i posted on my town subreddit and just said " hey BTW drivers in this terrible weather aren't getting extra pay" because at one point they stopped giving us extra and the storm was at its worst.
This wasn't a " tip more" this was a " look how shty they're treating us" because i called doordash to complain that we are driving in really dangerous conditions and should be getting paid more to compensate

Doordash told me if I felt unsafe driving then i shouldn't drive. Well i just was in the middle of a stack order and already had one order picked up. I told them " if you're not going to compensate for the dangerous weather I'm in cancel.my orders I'm delivering " the lady told me " you have to delivery the one you picked up" i said nope. I feel unsafe to drive anymore. I am not going anywhere but home. They just said okay and that was the end of the call.

On my towns subreddit a lot of people were like " sounds like your problem" ... I even had one person say it's the customer responsibility to tip more if the weather is so bad.....

So doordash and customers want us to kick rocks. So that's pretty shty. I just want to shake every order I get now I'm just so annoyed.

Doordash isn't my main source of income ( thank GOD) but it is for others and if they're putting in extra work in dangerous conditions then they should be paid more BY DOORDASH
