Perfume Palace purchases review - Lattafa Ameer al Oud Intense Oud, Nebras, PRis Corner Solitude, Maison Alhambra La Vita Bella, Lattafa Hayaati Florence, Lattafa Ana Abiyedh Rouge

Hello! Fellow Perfume Lovers,

First of all, many thanks to all the regulars on Reddit who post reviews of perfume sellers. Being totally new to this game, I relied on their reviews of sellers to decide on which one to buy from. One such seller is Perfume Palace. I placed two orders on their website - one full sized bottle and the rest 10 ml decants. Totally legit seller IMO, and their response time to WhatsApp queries is pretty good. Both parcels arrived via Blue Dart and intact. Well packed. I would recommend their website to anyone looking to buy middle eastern fragrances and don't have much experience, like me.

Disclaimer - I know these perfumes are supposed to clone well known ones, but I'd rather review them for what they are standalone than compare them to any others, mainly because I haven't sniffed those. So that's the that on that :)

On to the perfume reviews -

1) Lattafa Ameer al Oud Intense Oud: Bought a 100 ml full sized bottle of this. Fun fact about me - I'm a ME baby, having grown up in Abu Dhabi,, UAE in the '80s till '90s. The smell of oud is etched in my olfactory memory. And this perfume lives up to my expectations! It's a pretty linear scent, in that it smells the same from start to the end. Absolute beast of a smell - its smoky sweet. Imagine burning logs in a cabin, roasting marshmallows and having a bowl of sugar cubes right next to you. That's all there is to this fragrance. It is the same DNA as that of Bath & Body Works Smoked Old Fashioned range. Do not overspray this one, else you'll end up suffocating people around you. A couple of air spritzes, walk through, and you're golden. Love this one! 100 ml will last me and mine a long time :)

2) Lattafa Nebras - No. Just NO. For me, i.e. Smells like a day old lemon tart and vanilla sponge cake with chocolate drizzling. I wish I could carry this perfume off well, but at my age it will seem like I'm carrying quick snacks iny purse for hungry kids LOL! Not for me. Dries down to vanilla extract scent. I don't understand why this is so hyped. On second thoughts these reviews are by much younger lovely girls, therefore... :)

3) Paris Corner Solitude - I haven't seen many reviews on this perfume, so it was a blind buy and a gamble. Awfully glad it paid off! Lovely sweet, complex and deep perfume. Will be brilliant on bit mature women. Gives off total boss vibes. Added bonus - it got me out of my sweet scent funk. I've always been averse to gourmand-y scents, and this perfume helped me get over that stigma! Love it. Lasts well, projects decently.

4) Maison Alhambra La Vita Bella - happy girl scent! Floral, airy and sweet. Inoffensive, so perfect for work wear. Not the longest lasting, but if you keep a decant with you, a couple of sprays every 4 hours or so will keep you smelling lovely. Really liked this one!

5) Ana Abiyedh Rouge - very, very nice! Fruity floral. Better for evening wear. Fairly decent lasting power. I kept wanting to sniff my wrist when I applied it first. Complex in its composition, meaning it changes from top to middle to base level. Starts off more fruity, moves to floral and stays with a slight depth that is real good. Average to good longevity and projection. Me likey!

6) Lattafa Hayaati Florence - another gorgeous light floral scent. Nothing unique about it, but that being said this is a scent that is sweet and sober. Perfect for day wear or running errands, even to the office or meetings. Makes you feel fresh and uplifted. Good one at least for a decant.

I hope this review helps. Thanks a lot for reading. Cheers, and keep smelling amazing!!
