Just got to my second ever watch of Lost Highway and I’m in SHOCK

I remember feeling like it was an ok movie but nothing other than that. This time around I’m ???!?!!!!??!?! absolutely SHOCKED because it’s AMAZING and even flawless I’d say?????

By the time Fred arrives at his own door and mutters “Dick Laurent is dead” I produced an audible sound from how blown away I felt!!! Full circle!!!

I feel like this is now my second favorite work by Lynch which is shocking bc I never thought my personal ranking would change. I guess the bottom line is: thanks for still being able to make me feel so strongly towards your work, you MOVIE GENIUS
