Girlfriend can’t come to my birthday

My girlfriend (F/25) and I (M/27) recently became official within the last month and next month is my birthday. It’s the same day as her roommate‘s birthday and she said she’s unable to come to my birthday dinner and spend the day with me because she has to spend it with her roommate and go out to dinner with her.

Is this weird or am I overthinking?
