What makes Rossi more favoured over Gideon?

I’m watching CM for the first time and I’ve just been introduced to Rossi. My partner loves this show and said Rossi is better than Gideon. I personally loved Gideon. So without spoilers, what makes Rossi better? >! I miss Gideon already !<
