Unique situation where I witnessed an object dispersing while heading up to our atmosphere

I tried posting to a ufo group that bashed me up in every way imaginable because I never witnessed a contrail whose path originated from the ocean and headed upwards towards our atmosphere. It wasn’t going N,E,W or South. Up, and this is why my initial thought was rocket. The pics start at 4:29pm and end at 4:32 pm. Zoom above the sunset. I do not want to alter the originals.

I am posting here because I truly believe whatever type of craft this was it was dispersing something and not just the typical contrail from an airplane which I observed on 100’s of occasions. After about 4 minutes the phenomenon completely disappeared from the sky even though other active contrails remained, you see one plane in particular to the left of my phenomenon. That plane was traveling N. The pictures of the sunset are facing sw.
