Question about LTC and death

So my daughter and i both work at an LTC facility near us she’s an actual CNA for about a year now. She’s 18 yo and good at her job.

I’m in training and taking classes to become one.

Recently a favorite died and she seems to be taking it hard. How do those that work at LTC’s cope with death.

She feels she’s became numb to it, it’s starting to be harder on her. She’s really good at what she does, residents love her and she makes them laugh.

I don’t want her to lose her passion for the elderly as she loves it. What advice do you have for coping with death.

I told her that they’ve lived a good life and she made it that much better.
