Pain after injury and sports
Hi, I am a young 17 year old guy. I play soccer everyday, run every so often, workout every other day, I am as active as can be. My diet is absolutely amazing, I do stretches a lot, and I keep myself healthy. I drink lots of milk, eat lots of yogurt, and recently I’ve been taking D3 vitamins.
Before last summer months I had constant lover back pain. I kept on playing and playing everyday, until I dropped. Got it checked it was a stress fracture to my L5 on both sides. That put me out for a long time. Gained some weight, lost lots of muscle. I went to a physical therapist and did that for a while. I came back a little earlier then expected being pretty much cleared off completely to play in our nationals tournament. I’ve been good for months until this month. Started having more pain again. Everytime I stand for a while it hurts. Today at soccer I felt good, but I went to an event after and I could barely stand up straight. My back started popping and I went quick home. Now I have so much pain right now.
I don’t know what to do? Take a break? My coaches will kill me a break? Also I need to be in shape this was the time where I was going to go all out for the winter. I can’t get injured again, if I do then I won’t play college soccer. I just need advice, what to do right now. Thank you.
