Is a permanent "planet eclipse" possible?

I mean like where a planet (or other space body orbiting the star) is between your planet and the central star, but the inner planet is always between you and the star in the exact position to cause an eclipse/block the seeing the star from your planet.

Is it possible for there to be a permanent planet eclipse like this?

I think the way solar systems and planets are created would block such a thing existing...but not sure...thoughts?
