Looking for resources for essay about the weaponization of mental health against Black and Indigenous communities in Ontario

As the title suggests, I'm in need of some info.

It's easy to find academic articles about BIPOC mental health on its own, but not statistics about prevalence of misdiagnoses, arrests related to mental health, forced institutionalization or anything like that. I'm even having trouble finding academic sources on police shootings, which I know there have been a ton of in Toronto specifically. My essay puts emphasis on the community-based, non-police pilot projects in Toronto and other areas of the US and Canada, and I have plenty of resources for those and why they were implemented, but I'm having some difficulty finding any peer-reviewed studies or anything leading up to their debut.

EDIT: Since I am looking for academic sources, I should probably note that I can't source websites that end in .ca or .com. Only .org, government websites, books, and a few reputable news articles.

Thank you!
