Question About Crown Plaza Christmas Eve Eviction!?!?

I've seen this picture circulating on social media and I'm wondering if the hivemind has any thoughts on its validity or what actually transpired in this situation. From my reading of it, the individual staying at the Crowne Plaza was approved for a FEMA voucher that would have extended their stay past the 24th. But instead of honoring it, the hotel claimed literally that there was "no room at the inn" and booted this person on Christmas Eve. It would appear that the hotel prioritized higher paying out-of-town tourists over a local displaced by Helene. I've called the hotel, but they're being very tight-lipped. Thoughts?
