Officers should wear marksmanship badges
I have been told that officers don't wear marksmanship badges because they are automatically expected to meet the standard. It's a similar reason for officers not having good conduct medals. However, in my experience, officers aren't good marksman by default; just like Soldiers, there are really good officers and there are those that on any given day wouldn't be able to qualify. I think if officers wore them, it would show their Soldiers that they are competent, thereby increasing trust, and also encourage better marksmanship across the whole officer corps.
I'll have a jumbo jack, medium fry and a coke.
