How to keep a good guy in the Army.

I be but a low enlisted but I have a good private who recently failed a UA. Hardworking guys are hard to come by these days it seems, so I was wondering what things I could assist him in staying in the army. What people could I/he talk to and what services could I/he use. Or is it a lost cause and I just gotta take the L on losing a good guy.
