Rinse Aid reservoir drains after one wash

New homeowner. I noticed my rinse aids drains almost instantly as compared to my apartment where i was refilling like once a month.

When i lift the door, it starts to leak. Im not sure if thats how it works but definitely shouldnt completely drain after 1 wash
