Need to vent about doctor and insurance

Hi friends! I started zepbound in April. I love it. It works. My doctor has kinda sucked around dosing and I have had to restart (now for the third time) because she has submitted the wrong medication to insurance which wasn’t covered, then didn’t submit scripts in time, and then the pharmacy was out for a while. Anyways. I just had a check in 2 weeks ago with my doctor and she submitted the 7.5 dose. It was denied. Come to find out, the prior authorization had expired. So my doctor does the new PA. It gets denied. I call my insurance and they tell me that the medication is covered with a PA for adult weight loss. They cannot tell me what my doctor filled out, only that it was denied because it’s only covered for adults weights. I’m in my mid 30s. I’m an adult. I’ve been going back and forth with my doctors office and insurance for days now, hours on the phone. They won’t talk together with me. I have to be the messenger. My doctor keeps messing up. My insurance tells me the same thing. I tell the doctor and nothing gets resolved. My doctors nurse tells me she called my insurance this morning and they said it’s not covered. I’m fucking bamboozled. My insurance faxed my doctor a key to fill out the PA but I don’t know how they are messing it up!! wtf. Has anyone else experienced this?? I’m getting to the point I want to give up. My doctors office blames insurance. Insurance blames doctor. I just want my medication! And I’m annoyed because I cannot get below my current weight. Every time I get here, theres a snag getting the next dose. :(
