Prior Authorization Issues

So my prior authorization has now expired. My doctor tried sending in a renewal before it was expired but it was denied. The insurance stated as to why so we got what they asked for and sent in an appeal. An appeal can take up to 45 days and who knows if it will even be approved. My question is... has anyone received the medication some other way instead of paying 1k? I know the coupon thing but for some reason every pharmacy that has the meds the coupon doesn't work in their system. I really can't be off this medication right now. Yes I'm down 40 pounds but I can easily go up as I'm not at my maintenance weight yet. I'm also getting married in March and having extreme anxiety that I'll gain the weight back. Any suggestions??
