Xiaomi pencil gen 2 is writing while in air!!

Hey everyone,

I own a Xiaomi tablet for which i use a pencil. It used to work properly until last month but suddenly it started writing while i hover over the tab screen not touching it. Why is this happening anyone knows the cause ?
