Landmass between Mt. Firmament and Rinascita. Visual aesthetic or future region?

There's massive mountainous landmass between this 2 region. I'm not able to reach it because halfway through i'm automatically teleported back to Ragunna.

Wonder if it's part of the 2.x arcs or maybe upcoming 3.x+ when we got back to Huanglong or just visual aesthetic which kinda bummer..
