Tiger ll worth it?

Hey so im debating about getting the tiger ll (on PC). I've heard alot of mixed feelngs about it so im unsure of getting it. Im a free to play player and haven't spent a single penny on the game. So since I have it already unlocked with XP and it's on a 30% discount...should I get it? Is it an expensive tank to use?

Update: I have bought the tank, on my 1st game i got 2k damage so i thought i did pretty good lol. I can see what you guys mean now. Top tier i have some armor, bottom tier i can get penned somewhat easily
