Request for advice on Trademe selling

I've never sold anything on trademe. Trademe notified me today that there's free selling so I put up an item for sale. Within a couple of hours I got an offer for the buy now price which was higher than the reserve price. It somehow feels a bit odd and dodgy but could be a genuine offer 🤔 When I looked up the user it says 'new' and there's no activity on their account and it seems like a newly created account. I have ping and bank transfer as payment options. Any chances it's a legit offer and what happens if I accept the offer? If I accept the offer can I insist that I'll ship the item only on payment? \ \ UPDATE: Thank you all for your warnings and suggestions. I was just checking out the user who'd offered to buy and trademe says "SORRY THE MEMBER YOU ARE LOOKING FOR HAS BEEN DISABLED" 😆 So the user was indeed a scammer! Looks like there's no dearth for scammers though, 'cause now I see a question where the user doesn't actually have a genuine question but gives their phone number and asks me to text them 🙄 Horrid times!
