Mesalamine prescription $200 for 30 days in Canada, alternatives?

I don’t have medical coverage through work so I have to pay $200+ for pentasa!! Is there any cheaper way to get this? I have to take it 4x a day. I can’t afford this in the long run with all the payments I already have. Any one in Canada have any advice?

I’m new to this, is it a medication I have to take for life? I’m having a really hard time accepting this change.
