OPM/Health Benefit Documentation
Is anybody else unable to add documentation to the new health benefit website? The site claims I need to upload my marriage certificate and kids birth certificates before 2/2 or their coverage will be terminated. I looked, but there isn’t anywhere on the site to upload the documents, nor does it indicate where I should send the documents to. Their helpline said to talk to HRSSC.
I emailed HRSSC and this was their response:
“Unfortunately OPM have not fixed the PSHB system to allow employees or HRSSC to be able to submit supporting documentation; When new instructions are available OPM will send employees a letter with instructions.”
Has anybody gotten this letter, or know how to submit the documentation? We’re getting pretty close to the cutoff date and I don’t want my family to lose coverage.
Edit: I called HRSSC and they said to fax the documentation to 202-268-0359 and that should take care of it.
