IFoS as a Service

Hello everyone, i wanted to try for ifos also in 2024 as i am a physics graduate. How good do you think is the service, it is not as glamorous as other All india services like ips or ias. How does it compare to other services chosen by lower rankers in civils exam. As my optional for civils is physics that would give me a added advantage.
