Why are men so obsessed with Body Count?

I was having a conversation with this guy on Bumble and he asked my Body Count, I asked him why and then brought up that he doesn't date girls with a high body count, because they are "Unfaithful" and "not Loyal". I straightaway unmatched him lol😂.

I see this is a recurring theme in memes and in certain subreddits iykyk , that women with high BC are "low-value" and a dumb theory that our vag becomes bigger after every intercourse (No seal no deal🤮🤮).

To be honest, I've never cared much about a man's body count, because I see sex as a way to express love, not a tally that needs to be kept. I never inquired about my exes' past relationships, and they didn't ask about mine. This guy was the first to bring it up. The only concern with a high body count should be the risk of STD's only.
