Lilia's backstory πŸ˜πŸ’”

I was just thinking about this while on a plane, and I don't think I ever registered just how tragic it is. The two people he was IN love with had a child together. In the english version, it's not as impactful when Maleanor mentions it, but she uses the word 愛してるrather than ε₯½γ, which is very, VERY, significant. In Japanese, you rarely ever use 愛してるto tell someone you love them, it's typically reserved for weddings, proposals, deathbeds, and other significant events. It isn't something you'd say lightly. Even telling someone that you're "in love" with them isn't as intense as telling someone 愛してる. I feel like that's definitely lost in translation. So I cannot imagine how much that alone hurt. Then to be blamed by the fairies at castle after Maleanor dies? It's like tragedy after tragedy for him; he spends so much of his extremely long life trying to make up for his past "mistakes". Centuries of blaming himself for something he couldn't have stopped. I wish the english version reflected this more. Anyways, I don't really have friends who like twst so I'm rambling about it on here :P
