Wedding Dress Alterations Help

Hi! Hopefully this is the right place for this.

I just picked up my wedding dress today and I’m disappointed in how it looks (1st and 3rd photos) vs how it looked the day I bought it when I was clipped in and everything (2nd and 4th photos). I believe the sample dress I tried on was a 6 and I ordered a 2 as I’m quite petite - 5’0, 23 waist, 32C chest.

As expected, the waist is definitely still too big in a 2. I’m not as concerned with that because I imagine that’s a somewhat simple alteration.

My main concern is the chest. The whole bust/cup area seems too small and flattens my chest rather than lifting them. The cups seems like they are too close together and too small for me which is something I didn’t even consider when sizing down from the sample dress. I’m honestly not really sure what the exact problem area is because the bust also doesn’t look like it’s filling out correctly? Essentially it just doesn’t look right and I’m concerned because I’m not sure why.

Photos 1 and 3 are my dress as is, front and back. Photos 2 and 4 are the sample size dress clipped tightly in the front and back.

Does anyone have advice on how I can get the bodice to look more like it did in the sample dress? Thanks in advance!
