SE Ban-safe on rooted Android?

I recently rooted my NP1, which made me curious; is SE safe on rooted phones, as in safe from Snapchats detection algorithm? I uninstalled SE on my phone after getting several warnings, and seeing multiple people receive a timeout. Wondering if this goes the same for rooted users, or if they're spared from Snapchats detection.
