Just so frustrated.

Hi so I am a small channel with 881 subs who initially started YouTube as a self improvement /story time channel. Then I shifted to social commentary and grew with that (TIKTOK drama) or other viral stories. However, in 2021 a year after I made one self improvement video, that video blew up and gave me 200 over the course of 2 years and is my highest viewed video (it was encouraging young women not to compare themselves with other women). I am in grad school I wasn’t able to stay consistent hence why I’m small. I’m getting burnt out doing commentary and wanna go back to my original roots but really scared to alienate the audience I’ve built. I particularly wanna add beauty (sit down makeup with self improvement topics) to the mix since that is a skill I have but due to the over saturation of that niche…. I’m getting worried that I might not be good enough but I really wanna do it as I feel like the type of opportunities I’m looking for down the line would come from this niche. Just wanted to hear anyone else is experience pivoting and how it went for them. I just feel like a loser. Thanks for reading.
