Question the age difference
Hello, everyone. I have a question. I’m currently watching Season 3 after a long break, and there’s something I don’t understand. In the first episode, Lee Gwan Hee said he’s 36 years old, and his first match for Paradise, Choi Hye-seon, is 26 years old.
I’m Turkish, and here in Turkey, no one interferes in a relationship between a 26-year-old and a 36-year-old (after all, they’re adults). However, in my opinion and within my social circle, such an age gap isn’t considered very favorable. Something like 26 and 32 might seem okay, but a 10-year gap feels like a lot.
If I were Hye-seon, I might feel that the age difference is too much and prefer someone in their early 30s instead.
What do you think about this? And how is it perceived in Korea? people tend to find someone older maybe bc people think that older ones a more experienced and can provide more idk?
I mean, yes, adults can do whatever they want, I dont this is wrong or something like that. The question is more about preferences. is it more like “it’s not ideal” or “I wouldn’t prefer it either”
