As a hispanic person, I relate a lot to Bela

probably for the little things, I am trying to do stand-up comedy and have parents similar to bela (which is just the average ethnic household experience). but something about the recent parent episode really stapled why I relate to her; in the funniest ways possible.

- Bela is doing a psych experiment about sex, I'm studying to be a sex psychologist

- Bela's parents did a full 411 on Arvin. I've been dating my boyfriend for 5 months long distance, but we've been friends for 9 months total. He lives across the country in AZ and I live in the southeast on that demonic panhandle of a state. When I went to go see him for a week before christmas last week, My mom did a full on 411 on my bf and his family and his homes (his family home and the home he shares with roommates) and found out someone got murdered in his family home before they moved in (super dark, but she sprung it on me the same way Bela's mom sprung up facts about Arvin's family) which made me laugh, because god our families are so similar despite being two totally different ethnicities.

I will say, despite Taylor being an Alcoholic like me, Bela is my main. I like to think I'm a more consciously aware Bela (who would never cheat on a nerd!! god Bela whyyyyy!!!)

also, dated too many Eli's in the past. one second they're sweet and the next they're showing you the shrooms they grow in their closet. college is so fucking weird.
