Where are you from, how did u became scream fan?

I’m from EU, Slovenia, i became huge scream fan in elementary school, when one of our teacher’s had the first one on vhs and we watched it right before when the school ends before summer and i remember becoming so obsessed and i was so happy when i found anything related to scream in magazines or tv, we didn’t have internet back then … feels like a warm memory
