SCREAM 7 OPENING SEQUENCE (THEORY)

Dear Scream Fans, as you know, Matthew Lillard's Instagram post confirmed that he will be returning for Scream 7. Today, there are also rumors circulating on some websites that Scott Foley will be returning for Scream 7 as well. This has led to many fan theories about what the script could be like. Some suggest they will be used in flashbacks, while others believe that deepfake or AI technology might bring these characters back, with the killer playing twisted mind games with Sidney. I’d like to share my own theory with you.

According to my theory, if Scott Foley really returns, I believe that Matthew, Skeet, and Scott will be used in the opening sequence. Let me explain why:

As you know, in the last Scream films (especially in the 6th movie), the directors and screenwriters mostly fulfilled the fans' wishes (such as having more than two killers, revealing Ghostface’s identity early, having two Ghostfaces kill each other, etc.). One of the things fans have been hoping to see is the death of Maureen Prescott. As you know, Maureen was killed by Stu and Billy, and the mastermind was Roman. The opening sequences in the Scream films have always been important, which is why I think Scream 7's opening sequence will begin with the death of Maureen Prescott, as fans have wanted. This would also make the return of Stu, Billy, and Roman more plausible. Of course, this is just my personal theory.
