Heavy cream, fruit, and yogurt diet?
Hi,
Just curious what this sub thinks of a family member's diet. He's not on keto, but a more general low-carb diet. 1000 calories from heavy cream a day (~65g sat fat), plus sugar-free yogurt, fruit (berries and others occasionally), nuts (typically pistachios, probably ~5g of PUFA worth), a little bit of potatoes, and a bit of fish and chicken. High-fat, low-to-moderate carb, and low protein. ~2000 calories a day and healthy weight. I know this sub is mixed on the efficacy of keto, but I'm worried that he is not metabolizing all that fat well due to not being in ketosis. Plus, the lack of protein. That said, he avoids seed oils and processed foods. Healthy diet or not?
