How dusty is your home/apartment?

I live in Milpitas area. I am finding lot of dust in my room. I moved different apartments in the same community and observed everywhere. I noticed this first when my new laptop was overheating after 6 months. Saw that the fans are clogged with dust. People online suggested that that’s way too dust for just 6 months. Since then, I am noticing lot of dust everywhere. I keep my windows closed, but in a day or two, I can see layer of dust on my study table. Is this like this everywhere?
