Client Profile Removed🥲
Hi there everyone! I wanted to know if anyone has any advice on what to do about this situation, or just wondering how you would handle it!
I have this lovely client, let’s call the owner Bee and her pup Honey. I have had a pretty good working relationship with Bee for a little under 6 months now with recurring dog walks, and absolutely adore both Bee and Honey. The issue I’ve been having is sometimes Bee’s account will state that they haven’t paid for services yet, which then prompts Rover to tell me to basically get her to pay before performing any services. It’s happened at least once to twice a month since we’ve started working together, and usually is resolved pretty quickly. A little concerning, but again, I have nothing but kind words to say about both Bee and Honey.
Cut to last weeks schedule, and we have a payment issue. Usually quickly resolved on her end, but we ran into a different set of circumstances. I had to cancel our walk last week due to illness, and assured Bee that once she paid I’d be able to get her an immediate refund, as to remove the hold on her account. (Sidebar for those who aren’t aware: when you have a payment issue with a reoccurring booking, you are unable to make any changes to the existing booking. That meant I was unable to cancel my walk with Honey, which is why the refund after was to be no big deal).
Bee never ended up paying her tab, but when I went to inquire, said she’d be right on it, and was asking to keep our usual walk day for the following week(this week). Sunday comes and goes, and come Monday morning I’m left with the notification that Bee has not paid her balance from last week or this week. I try to contact her once again, and she assures me she has a handle on things!
Cut to this morning, at 5:30am EST, where a River agent lets me know that they have deactivated her account and suspended our services. I am disappointed and distraught. I thankfully had her real phone number from the friend who referred her to me, and I reach out once more to let her know the situation. She assures me that she’s going to get this taken care of.
So now here we are. I’m not sure what to do! I love both Bee and Honey, as I have a regular who also lives in her building whose dogs love taking walks with Honey. Is there anything more I should do? Am I a fool to think this situation is going to be resolved? I just don’t know what to think or do, so here I am. Here’s a photo of another regular client of mines sweet boys just so I don’t get lost in the thread🥲💘
