How do we built this financial trust? Before marriage ? We are 21f and 22m

I am particualr about money its not that I don't spend it on my loved ones I always do and do not think again whether i will get it back or not But I have somewhat different relations with him when it comes to money, may be through my behaviour that how particular about it I am. He once told me that how hardik pandya got cheated and he should keep his assets and everything safe if we marry , i did n't have any problem with that because everybody does that in the initial stages of marriage and then gradually we built that trust But this time i got vulnerable because he commented that girls if investing with their finances must act smartly and should not demand that back if they leave or the other partner cheats Because once given in love should not be asked after I know we both lack trust in terms of money we both belong to different castes.
