Sex during Period. Did This Happened to Anyone?

I had protected sex with my bf during the 6th day of my period. I know i was still bleeding that time since the night before, i had some brown blood on my pantiliner.

That night after having sex, brown discharge continued but it was so little. Today (8th day of my cycle), i wore pantiliner since the brown discharge continued. I felt something coming out of my vagina so i checked since i thought I was ovulating, but it is now fresh blood,,, like the blood you're supposed to get at the end of your period. watery red blood.

Did anyone experienced this before? I know it's impossible for me to be pregnant since we did it protected and the condoms have no leak (we checked), but what might be the cause of this? Did my period just stopped because of the sex then continued now?
