NVMe storage
Good morning everyone. I'm looking at adding some storage to my build as I have a spare NVMe slot available on my motherboard. At the moment the c drive is on a corsair mp400 1tb in the gen 4 slot (was a prebuilt) so I was thinking of getting a Crucial p3 plus gen 4 2tb and fitting that into the gen 4 slot and moving the corsair down to the gen 3 slot. My question is can I move all the data onto the new drive to make the gen 4 drive my c drive which the pc boots from. I'm hoping this will improve speeds and load times however I'm not sure how to do this safely without bricking my pc and losing the windows registration if that's possible. Any info and guidance is appreciated, even a better NVMe drive compared to the crucial. For additional information my motherboard is a Gigabyte B560M DS3H V2. Cheers
