Casual Gaming PC Build Advice

Hello all! I was hoping to get some advice on building a gaming-focused PC without breaking the bank. What I mean by this is that I'd like some advice on what components I should get to be able to comfortably play AAA games, as well as play around with mods, if I choose to.

To be more specific about what I'm asking, I'm looking for advice on a list of parts that work together to create a build that works and does it comfortably, but doesn't cost a small fortune to build. - In lieu of a better term, I'm not looking to hunt rabbits with a rocket launcher.
