What are your favorite lategame/endgame work pals that aren't atrociously large?

I can't stand having absolutely massive pals everywhere in my base making it impossible to tell what's happening or where I'm even at, so what are some good ones that can be used? Currently using Anubis for Mining, and condensed Wixen for kindling/handiwork, with Gorirat for hauling and Grizzbolt for generating.
