Should I update my Galaxy S10+ (Exynos) to Redmi Note 12 Pro?

Hi, my locally bought S10+ has a broken display glass (ISB/RWP). I asked for a repair quote and it was around 15k-20k (wasn't expecting this much for glass alone). This is making me wonder if I should upgrade to a budget-friendly-yet-value phone (after 3.5 years). The only option that my bank is able to finance for me is Redmi Note 12 Pro (Galaxy A34/54 too but the terms are harsh). I wanted to know if its a good choice to upgrade. My primary use is Camera and Gaming. I know S10+ was the flagship but it was of 2019. Is 2023 mid-range tech good enough to replace S10+ or should I go with another Repair of S10+ and keep using it?
