How is PUBG on an Ultra-wide monitor (3440x1440p) in 2024?

I'm considering getting an Ultra wide monitor, I think I would like the experience and the wider field of view. PUBG is one of the few games I play these days and I have found some old posts talking about how the horizontal fov is improved when playing on an ultra wide but the vertical fov is cut down a bit.

Has it gotten any better? Does PUBG support 3440x1440p officially now?
