Elden ring pro patch

I mostly heard good stuff about elden ring but it is kinda off putting that the game doesn't have a pro patch version.

How likely is it that from software will release a pro patch for elden ring this year? Also, is it typical for developers to announce that their game will be receiving a pro patch in the near future or do they just release it?
