Why is having a deep knowledge of physics necessary at all?

If someone knows like 100+ complex physics formulas and theories how is that very useful and beneficial?

I can see how chemistry is important because I feel like that's closely related to how to cure diseases or make necessary products/materials. Right? What is Physics doing though?

Why is it important if I know a ball rolling down a hill has equal and opposite reactions.
