PSA: Outback Steakhouse (US) bread is high nickel and contains cocoa!

Outback Steakhouse serves warm "pumpernickel" type bread as an appetizer. Pumpernickel bread, made from rye & rye flour can be low nickel and doesn't make me react, but Outback Steakhouse's bread always gives me a really painful eczema reaction. Today I was at Outback and decided to look it up while everone else was enjoying eating it.

Outback Steakhouse adds COCOA to their bread. It is, in fact, a Honey Wheat Bushman Bread made from coarse ground whole wheat, with molassas and cocoa powder (which is extremely high in nickel content) added to get the "pumpernickel" look-alike dark brown coloring. No wonder nickel allergy sufferers have reactions from that bread! It's not rye at all.
