Souris or Minnedosa

Hello, I would like to get some opinions on which town is better. My family will be moving to Manitoba shortly and we are stuck deciding between the two towns. We are a very active family, bike riding, hiking and cross country skiing etc. Souris has Brandon hills within 30 min and the housing prices seem to be a bit cheaper. Minnedosa has Riding mountain 30 min and the beach. Does anyone know if one town is a better overall place to live, crime, people, vibe etc
