MSI X870 Tomahawk Won’t Post
Hey everyone, really at a loss here. Before I state the issue, here are the components: - Ryzen 9800x3d - 7900xt GPU - RM1000x PSU - Neo Forza 2x8GB RAM (temporary until new 2x32GB arrive next week). - (let me know if any other specs are needed).
This is a new build PC and I can’t get to post. The lights on my motherboard flash red for the CPU and orange for the DRAM. Looked through many forums and threads, but nothing seems to help.
I have flashed the Bios, went through the whole process (blinking light and all), but once it is complete, back to square one. (I’ve reset the cmos and flashed bios a second time with a separate usb drive in case that was the problem).
I’ve also tried the method of removing the ram sticks. 2 rams sticks (slots 2 and 4), 1 ram stick (once each in each of the 4 slots), and even 0 ram sticks. I’ve even left it for a whole hour with 1 ram sticks in case it was just AM5 memory learning, and still nothing.
I have officially run out of options. Thanks in advance.
