12 angry men is amazing

To give context: im someone who really dislikes old movies and believe most of them havent aged well at all. I base all of my reviews and ratings based on my enjoyment of a film in a very casual way. So before i watched 12 angry men (a 1957 movie) my expectations were to the floor. I expected it to only be highly rated because of pretentious reviews, but no. This movie really is great, to me at least.

I have only 5 movies out of the 350 ive watched rated at 5 stars, and now this is one of them. Its now my second favourite movie. I love the characters and theres so much depth to the short 90 min story, i find myself watching youtube analysis’ on the film. It may not be everyones taste if you dont like slower paced dialogue heavy films but for me, i loved it. I understand the hype now.
