What movie made you angry?
For me, it's 'The Exorcist: Believer' I felt like it was a complete insult, not only to Hollywood, but to the legacy of William Friedkin and William Peter Blatty, and really, to everyone who admired the original and understood that it’s not just a horror film, but a deeply layered drama about a helpless mother and daughter. 'The Exorcist: Believer' seemed to misunderstand everything that made the first Exorcist so great, and it managed to ruin even those misunderstood parts!
Almost everything that could go wrong did. The script was a mess, the imagery lacks any of the power or subtlety of the original, and the acting and effects were ... disappointing at least, especially given the film’s massive budget. It made me seriously question where Hollywood is spending its money these days. If you have such a huge budget, at least make something worthwhile!
